Hannah is 3!

Hannah wanted to celebrate her birthday by having a party at Going Bonkers (in Columbia) with her cousins. We all had so much fun. The place was extremely chaotic on a Saturday with approximately 8000 other kids there besides us :) But we had our own party room, had cake (Wizard of Oz, of course!) and ice cream, and plenty of time for the kids to play in the giant play structure. It was a special day because we got to celebrate not only Hannah's birthday, but cousins Kate and Caleb's birthdays as well. What a great time! The kids all got free tokens for the birthday party and loved playing in the arcade area and trying to get as many tickets as possible, then cashing them in for little toys and candy. But the most memorable event of the day was Hannah's hair catching on fire when she blew out the candles. I was standing about two feet away and I remember thinking "oh no...her hair isn't back in a ponytail" right before I saw the flame. It was only a little flame, but sure got my heart racing! I got there quick and extinguished it with my hand before it could spread. Moms of little ones...beware of hair catching on fire!! :) If it isn't one thing to worry about, then it's another!!

Hannah and Grace having fun in the playland. Grace is such a wonderful big cousin. She went around the giant playland with Hannah so Hannah could find her way and would wait for her whenever needed. Thanks, Grace!
