The Mees Family: April!

Easter Egg Hunt at Stocksdale Park: This was a really hot day with thousands of people at the park! Hannah didn't want to get her picture taken with the bunny. Kind of a scary Easter Bunny, but Lauren didn't seem to mind :) After waiting for half an hour, the kids scooped up all of the eggs in no time...and they were all filled with melted chocolate. Hannah didn't seem to mind and had hers finished pretty much by the time we got home :)

Lauren is finally awake and needs a picture on Easter Day :) With 3 naps a day, it's tough to catch her awake!

Easter Egg Hunt at Mees household in the afternoon. Lots of fun running around and looking for the eggs with the cousins! The boys are always up to something! On this day, it was playing with huge styrofoam airplanes, which they managed to get stuck in the tree, creating quite the challenge to get it down. Hannah loves playing with the boys and manages to keep up with them pretty well!

Hannah getting ready to do an art project. I surprised her with this one afternoon and she was thrilled. Back story...she was playing in the van and accidentally saw ALL of her Easter stuff that the bunny was supposed to be bringing, so we had to go out and shop AGAIN! And so all of the original Easter stuff gradually is coming out in little surprises.

They are starting to play "together" more and more. Hannah is a very patient big sis and Lauren is so excited to be able to play with Hannah's toys!

What a pair! They love each other so much. There is very little jealousy/animosity at all between them. They just love being together. Hannah is a big helper and Lauren just smiles and laughs at everything Hannah does.
