Random fun at home :)

Lately, we've had a lot of down time at home...Lauren naps quite a bit during the day, and this leaves Hannah and I with a lot of free time on our hands. Hannah's favorite thing in the whole world to do is to play at home. If you ask her "what do you want to do today? Go to the zoo? a park? splash playground?" She will usually answer "Play at home!". This can be good and bad, depending on how much energy I have that day! We usually end up playing dollies, playing doctor with dollies, playing dress-up, reading books, putting together puzzles, playing with her dollhouse, playing hide and seek, doing artwork, etc. It is utterly exhausting, but so much fun. There is no need for me to be creative...she ALWAYS has something in mind that she wants to do or play. So on this particular day, we were experimenting with the camera taking pictures and videos and made these funny face pictures of ourselves. Love these memories and the smiles on her face :)

When Greg was learning how to walk 30-something years ago, his dad made him this little cart. When Hannah was learning how to walk, he refurbished the cart, added Hannah's name, and painted the handle pink. She got a lot of use out of it and now Lauren is doing the same. The cart is getting some mileage lately, as Hannah and Lauren are always figuring out new ways to take rides in it :)

Lauren can actually push Hannah in it! This is one strong baby!
And they love taking rides together in it :)
And then Lauren lets Hannah give her a ride too :)
Here are more pictures of random fun things we do to keep busy at home :) Hannah loves when Greg drags them around on this big blanket. They both laughed hysterically and got a kick out of it.

I had to include this picture, because it is just so typical of Hannah. She is watching Wizard of Oz with her big Dorothy doll and her little Dorothy figurine in her hand, with the case right next to her so she can look at it while she watches. She is VERY in to Wizard of Oz as most of you know :) She actually doesn't watch it too often, but does still love it. We recently found "Tom and Jerry in Wizard of Oz", which she gives 2 thumbs up :)

This isn't the best picture, but it is so typical of Hannah and Lauren right now. Hannah giving Lauren too-big hugs, even almost poking her in the eye (what is that thing?), and Lauren is all smiles and putting up with it because she wants to do everything that Hannah is doing. They love to play together and do gymnastics together, wrestle around, etc. Hannah is very interested in practicing gymnastics right now (somersaults, headstands, cartwheels...or at least attempts at those things!) and Lauren will try to do somersaults too. So cute...she will put her head down over and over and try to lean forward but of course nothing happens :)

Lauren's big smiles :)
