August Fun, Part 2

 Our big one-year-old! She is getting more and more personality every day and loves to play and try to keep up with all of us.

 Sam came up to Liberty right around his birthday and Hannah, Lauren, and I had a little impromptu surprise party for him. Hannah was so excited to get ready for the "party" by baking cupcakes. Here they are decorating their cupcakes. Happy 5th Birthday, Sam! What a great cousin he is :)

 Unsuccessful attempts to get a good picture of both of them :) They are quite the pair...always having fun (well...either that or screaming at each other!!) and usually too busy to look at the camera!

Hannah's First Day of Preschool!!
Hannah is going to Preschool this year twice a week and she loves it! We can't believe our little girl is so grown up! She was really looking forward to starting preschool and we knew she'd love it. She is so social and loves to learn, so preschool is right up her alley :) She was a bit apprehensive before the first day. But we went to an early breakfast at Chick-Fil-A, then got to preschool a little early so we read a few books in the car. By the time school was to start, she was ready to go! I walked her in and she barely looked back as she headed into hear classroom, so excited to meet her new friends and get started with the fun activities. Her teacher, Ms. Marti is fantastic and did a home visit prior to the start of school, so that really helped put Hannah at ease that first day as well. We have been thrilled with her school experience so far. She is learning a lot, but most importantly having fun at school and excited to go each day. Here are some pictures of her first day. She was very proud of her Hello Kitty backpack that she picked out all by herself :) She even had the matching Hello Kitty water bottle :)
