January!

 We had planned to take Hannah to the Wizard of Oz Museum as a special treat on her birthday. However, Lauren was really sick that day with a fever, so we couldn't make the trip. She had no idea it was supposed to happen anyway, so we just delayed it by a couple of weeks and went in January. The museum is in Wamego, KS which is about 2 hours away. I think it is one of Hannah's favorite places in the world. The next day, she wanted to go again. :)

Back at home a different chilly January day. Lauren just woke up from her nap and has all of her special things..her penguin, a blanket, her favorite book, and on that day, a kitty sticker.

An afternoon of fun with the water table...and lots of sopping up water in the kitchen. Ha!

Lauren continues to be obsessed with water. It started out with when she was an infant and she loved to hear the sound of the shower (it would lull her to sleep). Then we discovered she loves the sound of the ocean on her sound machine. Now she LOVES bath time and would probably stay in the bath all day if we let her. And here she is playing in the sink...she would also do this all day probably...just listening to the water run and playing in it.
