Hello everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful summer so far. Here's an update of what's been going on in our lives...
We made some improvements in the decor of Hannah's room. When she was born, we had it decorated very minimally, in sea green and brown (since we didn't know if "Mini-Mees" would be a boy or a girl). Now it's more girly with some purple and pink "accents" :) Here are the letters we hung above the crib. This was a LONG project, so I had to put them on here!
Good Morning! This is what happens when Greg thinks Hannah is cold in the middle of the night and gets some pants and socks out of the drawer in the dark :) To his credit, he did put on both socks.
Here are pictures and video of Hannah's first food--rice cereal. Please forgive the cheesiness of Hannah's parents in the video :) Or just mute the video to make it less annoying... We are pretty excited about this milestone!
So we feed Hannah before we eat dinner. Then she sits with us while we eat. This is Hannah's spot at the table. If she's left "alone" (5 feet away in the living room) she starts whining for attention, but she's pretty content sitting in her play pen with toys. What? That's actually a laundry basket? Oh well, she thinks it's her play pen :)
Gramma Jan and Grampa Bill stopped by on the way back from their road trip--
We headed to Colorado last week to visit family and friends and had a great time. Hannah was a trooper throughout the whole 20 hrs in the car!! Well....most of the time, at least.
Here are some pictures from the trip:
Fort Collins, one of our favorite places. Sitting on the patio at a downtown pizza place. Notice her little "skort"--her first skirt and very cute :)
Aunt Nancy, Uncle Cary, and us in Aunt Nancy's beautiful garden--Boulder, CO
4th of July-- This outfit was worn for all of about an hour until it got a little dirty with some bodily fluids. Good thing Auntie Penny in Liberty gave Hannah a second July 4th outfit. Too bad it too was dirtied before we could even take a picture of her in it. :(
A HUGE deer we saw in Boulder when we were driving out of Nancy's neighborhood. It is real!!

Back at home happily playing...
I love my exersaucer!

She is soooo cute! OMG! She can do so much now! Sitting up, inspecting toys, eating "solids", her first road trip!! Wow!! Looks like you guys are having too much fun! Glad to see everyone is so happy and healthy :) Let us know the next time you are in town... it would be great to get together!
ReplyDeletePS Love the "Hannah" art- very cute! Nice work mommy!
