February:
Swinging at the neighborhood park...one of Hannah's favorite places.

Our neighbor's 4th birthday party. Hannah was much younger than the rest of his guests but she had a great time eating cake and watching them play their party games. He's a good friend to Hannah and they always have fun playing together.

Playing with socks :) Sometimes it's the little things that make her happy!

Burr Oak Woods Nature Center in Blue Springs...a wonderful place to go and explore nature, animals, etc. Hannah loves the fish tank there as well as a lot of the interactive exhibits. They have a program for kids from ages 0-3 called "Babes in the Woods" where they learn about nature from a naturalist and get to take nature walks, etc.

One of her favorite things to do is to go for a "ride" on a blanket down the hallway. This usually occurs before bedtime. We tend to do a lot of roughousing right before bedtime...she loves to jump on the bed/air mattresses, chase each other, play hide and seek, take "rides" on the blanket, and slide down the air mattresses (like they are slides). Somehow this usually results in wearing her out enough that she goes to sleep the minute she hits the crib!

Mommy had some time to kill before meeting a friend...so we stopped by Crepes on the Square and got a kid-sized crepe. Yes, that is kid-sized! Hannah was initially disappointed that it came with whipped cream instead of ice cream...until she learned what whipped cream tasted like :)

Checking out the new library in North Independence. They have a great kids' section complete with computer :) Here she is trying to play a Sesame Street game.

So we walked into this chocolate shop in Liberty and I told Hannah she could have one thing. Ummm...I think I need to be more specific next time! She chose this humongous lollipop made of chocolate-covered marshmallows rolled in mini-M and Ms :)

A trip to Crown Center to see the Under the Sea exhibit and to eat at Fitz's Railroad Restaurant!
