April!

Easter, Spring, School Programs, Slumber Parties...here are some shots from April!

Excited for the Easter Egg Hunt to start!

A trip to the Clydesdale Ranch near Boonville. It was a beautiful day to see all of the baby Clydesdales. One of them had just been born the day before!

Dying Easter Eggs!

Easter Morning! The Easter Bunny came!

Getting ready to go to church :) It was a bit difficult to get a good picture this year!

Lauren going on a bug hunt with her new bug-catching kit that the Easter Bunny brought. She loves finding ants and roly-polies, and the occasional beetle or spider :)

Looking for worms again in the driveway at Gramma Jan's house! This girl really has a heart for worms!

We went to Columbia for a quick trip to celebrate Aunt Carla winning a big award. We celebrated with cake and a nice dinner out at Babbos. A fun trip!

Schumacher Family Fun Night! Lots of fun, friends, food, games, prizes...hooray!
Hannah and her good friend, KayCee. Quite the pair! They share the same sense of humor and are always giggling and having a great time together.

Lauren patiently waiting on the "candy walk". She was very persistent and won her giant box of candy :)

Cute pictures from a sisters slumber party in the guest bedroom. They had such a great time. They brought their dolls in too and had to get their dolls all tucked in to their sleeping bags first :) Then we read a bunch of books, and then the two of them giggled and snuggled in the big bed for quite some time before they finally went to sleep. Such sweet sisters.

Making homemade pizzas with Lucy and Olivia after school. Fun times with good friends.

Lauren on the lookout for worms again!

Hannah all decked out to start her swimming lesson. She loved lessons and ended up having her own coach because there weren't too many kids signed up. The swimmers at Jewell taught the lessons and did a great job. She really improved and by the end, could do a 25 yard backstroke! Still coming along on the freestyle and the breathing, but she will be able to do a 25 yard freestyle soon!

Hannah learning how to ride a bike! She was very determined, and didn't want much help. Here is Greg giving her just a little help as she navigates one of her first rides without training wheels.

Lauren on "Western Day" at Hilltop Preschool. Carla had given us this outfit just a week or two before, and it was perfect! She was a cute little cowgirl!

Coincidentally, Hannah had a Mother/Daughter Western Dance that week, too! Another cute cowgirl!

Hannah and her friend, Evelyn.

At the end of April, all of the Kindergarteners performed at a special Art and Music night. Hannah was so excited and she did such a great job. It was fun to see the kids perform some of their songs, games, and activities from music class. It seemed like they really loved music class this year and had a good time performing. Grandma Nell came up to see the performance.
