October

We had a wonderful October filled with all sorts of good times. Here are some snapshots from throughout the month...

Silliness. This is one of Hannah's favorite words. As in "More silliness!!" She says this frequently if someone is acting funny or chasing her or doing something that makes her laugh. She is quite a happy little girl most of the time and loves to have fun. She really has a great sense of humor. This is her cracking herself up by sitting in her doll stroller.

Each Saturday during the summer, we go to the Farmer's Market in Liberty, which is on the downtown Square only a couple of miles away. This is one of our favorite things to do. It's just a quaint, friendly farmer's market. On this day...the last day of the market we decided to try these delicious gourmet cupcakes. We decided to get a couple of them and share. Ha! Hannah devoured almost a whole one and when we asked her if we could have a bite she'd just laugh and hold the cupcake close to her and turn away :)

Hannah's new favorite place to go...Hyvee! With the free cookies for kids and the fire engine cart, what more could a kid want?!

Yummy frozen custard...

I couldn't choose between the next three pictures so I just decided to include them all. All of them capture such genuine expressions... Notice the outfit includes no pants and 2 socks...both on the same foot :)

A trip to Columbia...going to Shakespeare's with Sam and Kate. They got to ride the rides in the back thanks to Papa. And they loved watching the pizza-making process too.

Fun at Grandma A and Papa's house.

Digging for worms out on the farm with Kate. That Kate always has some adventure up her sleeve :)

Fun with Daddy :)

Reading bedtime stories. Reading is still her favorite thing to do. Most of you know that Hannah's vocabulary is really amazing. I definitely attribute that to all of the books that she has been read. She wants to read books any time of the day. That's usually the first thing she wants to do in the morning and the last thing she wants to do every night. As of mid-November, she uses 6-7 word sentences regularly. Her longest sentence to date..."I want to play with the M and Ms downstairs." :)

Preview of Halloween :) More pictures to come!
